Public House Brewing Company

I had the opportunity to photograph the grand opening of the Public House Brewing Company in St. James, Mo. last weekend. Whole hogs were cooked, the beer was flowing and live music filled the air, so do I need to say how awesome it was? This is a great spot with amazing beer, so check it out if you find yourself cruising by on I-44.

Back to Missouri

After 14 great years in the Bay Area, I have moved back to my home state of Missouri. It's been a fantastic place to live and I'm going to miss it like crazy, but I thought it was time to shake things up while also being closer to family. Look out for updates from the Show Me State, but for now, here are some pictures from the trip out.

Night float in the Ozarks

I went back to see the family in the Ozarks last week and found myself on a full moon midnight float trip with friends and family on the James River. Despite what you may have heard, it was a really nice stretch of river. Sure, maybe the recent rains made parts of the river a bit faster than anyone had expected, and maybe hitting some light rapids in the dark was a little unnerving after not being in a canoe for a while... but still loads of fun and very beautiful.
